Spring Break in Branson

Took the kids to Branson for Spring Break. Short trip but we packed it in. What a quirky place. We also got to see Grandma Lori and PPas. We stayed in these really cute cabins just off the strip.

Thank you PPas for all the quarters.

Pizza with Grandma Lori.
Out on the town.
Grandma Lori got to babysit while I continued my marathon training. Dad got me a Boston Marathon jacket.
Bath time in the sink.
Off to the Butterfly Museum.
Petting the skink.
Crazy looking lizard and mexican walking fish.
They had two mazes. The first one was all mirrors. It was hilarious watching the boys run for what they thought was the way, only to run straight into another mirror. The next was a jungle maze.
Lily patiently waiting to see the butterflies.
Getting a better look at the butterflies.

Lily was in heaven watching all of the butterflies.

Lucky girl, she had one land on her boot.
Then off to the fish hatchery to feed some trout. To our surprise they had a some locals to see inside. I opted out of petting the snake.

Feeding the trout.

Lily enjoyed a bit of sunshine.

Bye bye trout "catch ya later." :)

Next stop....Dinosaur put-put. Lukas impressed us all with his skills. Logan was terrified of the erupting volcano.

They thought they were flying monkeys. Definitely got the monkey part right.

Some much needed snuggle time with Ppas.
Couldn't resist this silly boy.
Train ride to Silver Dollar City.

Loved the go-karts.

Came home to find a mailbox full of cards, drawings and goodies from all our friends in Switzerland. What a perfect ending to our trip!
