Schloss Neuschwanstein

Schloss Neuschwanstein is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a hill above the village of Hohenschwangau, Germany. Commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria. Today it is open to the public and has over a million visitors per year. The Disney castle was modeled from this castle.
We took a tour; very interesting, with beautiful views. Work was stopped on it when Ludwig died. He only lived to be 40, therefore, there is a lot unfinished.

The floor in the chapel.

This was the most elegant bed I have ever seen. Cameras were not allowed so I had to hide my phone and not use a flash.

Garden room.

Look at all of the copper pots! The kitchen was huge.
