Random

This picture cracks me up. Not sure how I was able to get this shot.

Make a wish.

One of the five pumpkin pies I made this Autumn.

Stealing his brothers breakfast. This is a daily occurrence once Lukas leaves the kitchen.

Score! A biscuit.

Ride in/on the bobby car.

Playing in the streets of Werdenberg (no cars allowed).

Teaching little Bro how to play cars.

Maybe he will grow up to be faster than Mommy.

Lukas and his best bud Clement eating ice cream.

OOOOOU....lost.

Wild boar I spotted down the street from our house.

Ready for ski season. Lessons stray next weekend.

Balzers

Driving home from computer shopping we passed a castle in Balzers, Liechtenstein. We have never been to this town so I wanted to stop. We hiked up to the castle. It was a beautiful view of the town and the Rhine Valley. It was super windy but we got a few wild hair pics.

My Uncle Richard would have appreciated this side trip.

Buchs Fair

This was by far the smallest fair I have ever been to, but Lukas had so much fun. Bumper cars, helicopters, motorcycles, cotton candy...

Cow Show

Every year we have lived here there is a cow show in Sax (the town next to ours). The cows all get baths, brushed and fancied with huge bells. They walk from their farm to the show. All of the streets and driveways are roped off so the cows stay on their path (the main road through the villages). All of the locals get excited and watch the procession. Some of the herders dress in their original Swiss attire. What a sight to see! After the procession this year we walked down to the show to check it out.

Homemade goodies from the locals.

Giant bells.

Cow cookies.

Fun morning, but it was so stinky. We had to hose our shoes and the stroller down. Good thing the street cleaner came shortly after.  Life in the countryside. :)
