Zipline

 Went on a zip line tour with friends just outside Kansas City. It was a blast. I love these kind of thrill adventures. Nothing like spinning upside down through the air for 1/4 a mile. We hiked through the woods and did 4 zips, then climbed almost a hundred zips to fly down 6 lines. Woohoo! Also, kuddos to our friend who is scared of heights.

Kindergarten Graduation

So proud of Lukas this year. He learned to read and write, which he has now turned into creating his own books. His imagination has fueled his creativity when singing songs or doing art. He started soccer, football, basketball and continued in baseball. He has also grown like a weed. It fills my heart with joy to know that his smile is real, his friendships are true and new adventures give him a thrill. Just love watching him grow.

First day of summer for Lukas. We went to the zoo with friends.

Weekend Fun with Dad

We love long weekends with Dad. Erik took of Friday. We just did things around Kansas City, but we sure do enjoy quality family time.

First stop was the zoo. we had not yet seen the penguin exhibit, it was awesome.

Hot tubbing.

I had my first half marathon of the year, Rock the Parkway. Finished 8th in 1:33. Afterwards we met at the farmers market. Stocked up on veggies while the kids enjoyed dancing and the balloon artist.

Went to Crown Center to check out the Wizard of Oz exhibit.  Follow the yellow brick road.
