"The Grouchy Ladybug"

Lukas had his first play today. I was so excited and so proud of him. The whole class did a great job.
Lukas was the head of the whale.

After the play they sang a song together about a ladybug playing in the sand. You could hear Lukas loud and clear, even Logan heard Lukas "Gekas" singing.

Innsbruck

Stopped in Innsbruck and the Swarovski factory on our way to Salzburg last month. I wanted to see where the Olympics were held. We did see the giant ski jump outside of Innsbruck and the arena where Peggy Fleming won her first gold medal and the wedge haircut became famous.

The arena was not too impressive. It was so small, they were setting up for a wedding. It still has the original wooden seats in the stands.

Enjoyed the Swarovski factory.

The kids loved the play area and maze.

Spiderman.

Off to Salzburg.

Knie Zoo

First time this year at the Knie Zoo. We always enjoy going here. It is small but kid friendly and they have a wide variety of animals. Dad got to join in on the fun this time.
Eating popcorn at the sea lion show.

Strawberry Picking

We went strawberry picking this week. We all enjoyed. The field was so nice. Each strawberry was picture perfect and delicious. No bugs or wilted, smushed berries. It was so organized, although I would never expect anything less from the Swiss.

Weighed our bowl and then it was happy picking.

Logan was a good picker, but also ate every strawberry he picked.

Squatting off in a corner munching on a strawberry. He just couldn't get enough. Completely red by the time we left.

Allegra joined in.

Note, Logan drooling over all of the strawberries.

Weighed in at almost 6.5 lbs!

Fun day for us all.

We made strawberry milk shakes, pop tarts and jam. Yummy! Might head back for some more next week.

Big Boy Bed

Logan got to practice sleeping in a big boy bed when we traveled to Salzburg a couple weeks ago. To our surprise he did great. He was thrilled the next morning to see that he was still sleeping next to Lukas.

So, when we got home we started rearranging and got his new bed ready. We wanted to keep the trend going since he would be sharing a bed again with Lukas in Spain in a few days.

Reading a book with Dad before night time.

Watching him on the monitor. He was sitting up calling for "Geka" aka Lukas. He couldn't quite grasp why Lukas wasn't sleeping in bed with him.

A few minutes later he was out like a light.

Kicking a leg up while sleeping in Spain.

He is still loving his bed. He doesn't know he can get out of it when he wakes up. He just sits and waits for us to come in. And he figured out the hard way that jumping on the bed is not the best idea.

Our Little Girl is Growing

Two and half months to go! That flew by. We are all so excited to meet her. So far everything is good. She is measuring a week and a half ahead. At 25 weeks she was 2.3 lbs. She moves around more than Logan did, not sure about Lukas. My body is definitely feeling this pregnancy. I have two hernias and horrible varicose veins. But I am sure these are not the only troubles she will give me in my lifetime :) Here are a few pics from our last two appointments.
21 weeks. Looks like she is blowing a kiss.

25 weeks in 3D. I think she looks like her daddy in this one.

She likes to show us her feet.

Mother's Day

These two little boys mean the world to me. They made me feel so special on Mother's Day. To my surprise the kitchen was filled with flowers- lilies, orchid, lemon tree, daisies, roses; and a homemade card from Lukas.
Veggies and eggs for breakfast.

A bike ride with Lukas.

I took them to the carnival for rides and hot dogs.

Out for a hike.

Shrimp cocktail for our snack.

Then I was treated to one of my favorite dinners. Nothing is better than being a mom. I could even do without this special day, their smiles tell me it all.
