Halloween at School

Lukas got to celebrate Halloween at the International School. All the younger kids got to dress up. All the kids at school had the option to carve/decorate squashes of their choice. Then they got to display and parade them at school. Lukas painted a squash white, then glued black eyes on it. He was so proud of his ghost.  I was so proud of my little boy walking out on stage and showing it off to the whole school.

After the parade we had a party in the preschool room. We decorated pumpkin cookies and made a spooky Halloween decoration.

All the preschoolers enjoyed the party. I enjoyed putting together an American holiday party.

Säntis

We went to the top of Säntis for my 30th birthday.  You can see Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France and Italy all at the same time.  Säntis is the highest mountain of the Alpstein, 2,502 meters.
The beautiful trees on the drive through Wildhaus and Unterwasser.

Ran into the cows heading home to the barn.

The view from a far.
